Throughout the nation the miniature cattle industry is growing at a rate of 30% a year. The number one reason behind this is the shrinking of tracts of land. These diminished acreage's have lead to the need for a smaller, more productive breed of cattle. On 5 acres of land a rancher can raise either 2 large full size beef cattle or 10 miniature Zebu.  Zebu eat less therefore cost less to feed and are not as destructive to fence and pasture and can live up to 20 yrs. or more with good care. Under the registration guidelines to be classified as miniature, the mature height cannot exceed 42 inches, but most Zebu breeders strive to raise cattle in the 34” to 38” range. 

Any of the Zebu's I currently have for sale that are not already registered would be eligible to be hardship registered through the IMZA at the age of 3yrs.
